HIMA的HF6214 系统为CPU四重化结构（QMR），即系统的中央控制单元共有四个微处理器，每二个微处理器集成在一块CU模件上，再由2块同样的CU模件构成冗余的中央控制单元。HIMA的1oo2D结构产品就已获得AK6/SIL3的安全认证。采用双1oo2D结构，即2oo4D结构的目的是为用户提供大的实用性（可用性），其容错功能使得系统中任何一个部件发生故障，均不影响系统的正常运行。与传统的三重化结构相比，它的容错功能更加完善。目前，四重化结构的SIS已经成为各专业制造厂商研制开发新系统的主流趋势。

F6214 系统为模块化的结构，中央机架部分包括中央单元、通讯模块和电源模件组成。每个51q系统能够扩展16个I/O子机架，每个I/O子机架又容纳16个I/O模块。

通信模块：通信模块用于连接整个安全控制系统和外部设备，如监视器、计算机、PLC 等。通信模块支持多种通信协议和接口，如 Modbus、Profibus、CAN 等。
