在变频器的应用中，有许多场合都要用到“飞车启动”的功能。“飞车启动”通俗地讲，也就是转速跟踪再启动，即对旋转中的电机实施再启动。如：

　　（1）风机，它的机械惯性比较小，轻微的自然风就可能使其自然旋转，4301-MBP-DFCM     冗余模块而对于无此功能的变频器，要投入运行，可能会出现启动过流保护，因而要求等待电机完全静止后再启动，这势必会耽误调试或生产时间。

　　（2）对于一个风道采用两个风机引风的场合，在停止一台风机时，另一台也会拖动停止的风机旋转，启动时就需要两台风机都停下，这样就比较麻烦。

　　（3）冲床机械通常有一大惯量的飞轮，一般停止的方式为自由停止，如果要再次启动必须等待4~6分钟或更久，等飞轮停止后才可启动；而采用速度追踪的功能，不需要等到飞轮停止可马上执行运转启动飞轮。
