The enhanced Keyphasor module is an improved 3500 system module. Compared to previous designs, it provides extended Keyphasor signal processing capabilities while maintaining full downward compatibility with existing Keyphasor modules in terms of form, coordination, and functionality, making it suitable for use in traditional systems. The Keyphasor module PWA 125792-01 has been completely replaced by the updated 149369-01 module. When modular redundancy (TMR) applications require system keyphasor input, the 3500 system should use two keyphasor modules. In this configuration, the modules work in parallel, providing primary and secondary Keyphasor signals to other modules in the rack. If there are no more than four input signals from the main keyphasor, systems with more than four keyphasor inputs can use paired configurations. Paired configuration requires two consecutive monitoring positions at the upper/lower or two half slot positions. Four Keyphasor modules will accept four main input channels and four backup input channels, and provide four output channels (one for each module). Two paired and one non paired configurations (a total of three: ↑ Keyphasormodules) are also possible. In this configuration, Users can configure a non paired Keyphasor Order two 2-channel or one 1-channel and one 2-channel option. The isolated Keyphasor l/0 module is designed for applications where the Keyphasor signal is connected in parallel to multiple devices and requires isolation from other systems such as control systems. The isolated I/O module is specifically designed for magnetic pickup applications, but as long as an external power supply is provided, it can be compatible with Proximitor * applications and provide isolation. Please note that the main purpose of this/O module is to measure shaft speed Instead of phase. This module can provide phase measurement, but this type of I/O introduces a slightly higher phase shift than the non isolated I/O version. Figure 1 shows the increased phase shift of the IsolatedI/O module at different machine speeds. Enhanced product features include generating one event signal per lap from multiple event inputs, on-site upgradable firmware, and asset management data reports.
