1762-24BWA is a MicroLogix 1200 programmable logic controller (PLC) manufactured by Allen Bradley. The controller is a compact controller type in which the power supply, integrated input and output channels, communication ports, and memory module are installed in a common compact enclosure. This compact controller is perfect for use in small applications, with extended functionality to enhance the controller's native functionality.
The integrated power supply working voltage of this controller is 24VDC. The temperature provides an appropriate voltage, and the controller is powered on, including other circuits. The integrated communication port of this controller is an 8-pin mini DIN RS232 port that supports multiple protocols, such as DH-485, DF1 full duplex, DF1 half duplex, DF1 radio modem, Modbus master-slave, and ASCII protocols. DH485 is designed specifically for peer-to-peer or network architecture, DF1 is designed specifically for peer-to-peer transactions, Modbus supports network architecture, and ASCII protocol is the ideal choice for direct communication with smart devices.
It can also be used for communication with computer-based interfaces, such as Human Machine Interface (HMI) or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA). Since Rs232 communication is limited to independent or point-to-point connections, external interface converters such as 1761 NET-AIC can be used to enable this port for multiplexing.
The 1762-L24BWA has fourteen (14) 24VDC inputs and ten (10) relay outputs. It also has an integrated memory that is shipped along the module. This module can be replaced with a real-time clock module. The controller also includes two (2) potentiometers that can be used for simulation.
