 风电场内的风机与升压站之间的距离一般较远，为了降低电能传输过程中的损耗，风电场内的风机就需要就地配置10kV风电箱变，把风机输出的电能先进行升压，然后再汇流到110kV 升压站侧输送到主网系统。箱变测控系统能解决因箱变距离监控室远且分散不易管理的问题，升压站系统无法实现对箱变监视和控制的问题。1794-IE8  离散输入模块箱变测控装置融合了通信管理机、工业以太网光纤交换机和完善的箱变测控保护功能于一体。每个发电区一般由30个户外房或者风机组成，与之对应30个箱变，分为三个环网，每个环网约10台箱变，与中控室交换机组成光纤环网，确保网络通信的稳定性和安全性。

1794-IE8  离散输入模块

1794-IE8 requires an external power supply voltage range of 10.5-31.2VDC and a nominal power supply voltage of 24VDC. It requires a 60 mA power supply current. It requires the use of a terminal base for installation and connection of input signal wiring. The compatible terminal bases are 1794-TB2, 1794-TB3, and 1794-TB3S, 1794-TB3T, and 1794-TB3TS. The module only requires one terminal base.
This Flex I/O module is compatible with Flex I/O communication adapters, such as Ethernet, control network, and remote I/O adapters.
This module does not require calibration beyond the factory settings. It measures 3.7 x 2.1 x 31.8 inches and can be installed on DIN rails or directly panel mounted. The 1794-IE8 module can be installed on the 1794-TB2, 1794-TB3S, 1794-TB3ST, 1794-TB3T, or 1794-TB3 terminal base. It also comes with power and status indicators, and has an open housing. The rated voltage specification of this module is 24 V DC, and the power supply voltage range is 10.5 to 31.2 VDC, including 5% AC ripple.
This module is compatible with analog current signal ranges such as 0-20mA and 4-20 mA, and voltage signal ranges of+/-10VDC and 0-10VDC inputs. Its voltage resolution is 2.56 mV/cnt (unipolar) and 5.13 mV/cnt (bipolar), and its current resolution is 5.13 μ A/cnt。 The maximum voltage overload of this module is 30 volts continuous, and the maximum current overload is 32 mA continuous, but each has only one channel.

The operating temperature range of this module is -20 to 55 degrees Celsius, while its storage temperature range is -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The 1794-IE8 module has 20.25% full scale current input and voltage input accuracy at 0 ℃, although the voltage input includes gain, offset, repeatability and nonlinear Error term. The step response of voltage terminal to 63% is 9.4 ms, and that of current terminal is 18.2 ms. Its absolute accuracy at 0 degrees Celsius is 2.25% of full scale, the accuracy drift of the voltage terminal is 0.00428% of full scale per degree Celsius, and the temperature of the current terminal is 0.00407% of full scale per degree Celsius.
