传感器的制造及使用符合多种国际通用标准，例如： API 670、DIN 45670 和 ISO 10817-1。在加装安全栅后，传感器和前置器也可以在需要防爆的环境下工作，符合相关的欧洲标准 EN 50014/50020 。

涡流传感器与前置器形成一个振荡器，振幅随着传感器探头与金属被测物的接近而衰减，衰减的幅度与传感器和被测物之间的距离成正比。

出厂前已经使用校准材料42CrMo4对传感器与前置器成套地进行了线性校准，因此安装时不需要再做校准。用户只需要调整传感器和测量面之间的气隙，直至从前置器的输出得到所需信号。

Eddy current sensors are widely used in various industrial fields and laboratories. It has the advantages of small size, high reliability, and non-contact measurement, and is suitable for various turbomachinery. It can measure physical quantities such as shaft vibration and displacement. EPRO provides customers with various models of eddy current sensors that can meet various measurement schemes.
The following physical quantities can be measured:
Clearance between rotating and fixed parts
Vibration and eccentricity of the shaft
Radial and axial displacement of the shaft
Wear of bearing shells
Thickness of oil film
Relative thermal expansion between shaft and bearing
Thermal expansion of bearings
Valve position
The manufacturing and use of sensors comply with various international standards, such as API 670, DIN 45670, and ISO 10817-1. After installing safety barriers, sensors and proximitors can also operate in environments that require explosion protection, in accordance with relevant European standards EN 50014/50020.
The eddy current sensor and the preamplifier form an oscillator, and the amplitude decays as the sensor probe approaches the metal object being measured. The amplitude of the attenuation is proportional to the distance between the sensor and the object being measured.
Before leaving the factory, the calibration material 42CrMo4 has been used to perform a complete linear calibration of the sensor and proximitor, so there is no need for further calibration during installation. The user only needs to adjust the air gap between the sensor and the measuring surface until the desired signal is obtained from the output of the front mount.
