The TRICONEX IMSS 4701X pulse input module provides eight highly sensitive high-frequency inputs, commonly found in non amplified magnetic speed sensors or compressors on rotating equipment such as turbines. This module detects voltage conversion from magnetic sensor input devices. The conversion is accumulated within the selected time window (rate measurement) and the TRICONEX IMSS 4701X result count is used to generate transmission to the main processor. The pulse counting measurement resolution is 1 microsecond. The types of speed sensors typically used in conjunction with pulse input modules include an inductive coil and rotating teeth. The sensor is physically close to the teeth of the rotating shaft and upper gear.
