ACM transmits process information at a full network data rate for use anywhere on the I/A series system, and transmits all Tricon alias data (including system variables and system aliases) and diagnostic information to the operator workstation in a display format familiar to Foxboro operators. ACM provides the following functions for the I/A series: ● Use Object Management Database (OMDB) to process key/O points and pass the results to the I/A series; ● Process Tricon alarms and propagate them to user-defined I/A series destinations (consoles, printers, etc.)
