Fault tolerance is realized by the third mock examination redundancy (TMR) architecture of each of the 40 input channels in the module. The input of each field is doubled, and the input voltage is measured using a sigma delta input circuit. Compare the obtained field voltage measurement value with the user configurable threshold voltage to determine the reported field input state. When installing line monitoring devices at on-site switches, this module can detect open and short circuits in on-site cables. The line monitoring function is independently configured for each input channel. Triple voltage measurement, combined with on-board diagnostic testing, provides comprehensive fault detection and fault tolerance. This module provides onboard event sequence (SOE) reports with a resolution of 1 millisecond. Changes in state trigger SOE entries.
