The GE/Bentley Nevada 3500/93 series system displays are designed to meet the requirements of American Petroleum Institute Standard 670 and provide local or remote visual indication of mechanical protection system information in all 3500 racks, including system event lists, alarm event lists, and data from all channels, monitors, relay modules, keyphasor modules, or tachometer modules.
The 3500/93 system monitor is configured using the 3500 rack configuration software. The monitor can be installed in one of four ways: front mounting, 19 inch EIA rack mounting, panel mounting, and standalone mounting.
Each 3500 rack can connect up to two displays, and each display requires an empty 3500 rack slot to insert its corresponding DIM. When the monitor is not installed on the surface, the cable connection between the DIM and the monitor can be made from the I/O module on the front or back of the 3500 rack.
