The general method for testing the OK limit of 3500/05-01-01-00-00 is to input the DC voltage and adjust it to be higher than the OK upper limit and lower than the 0K lower limit. This voltage will cause a non OK state and the OK relay to change state (power off). The upper and OK lower limits are displayed on the Verification screen of the test computer
1. Disconnect the PWR, COM/-, and SIG/+field wiring overspeed detection input/output modules from the channel terminals on the.
2. According to section 5.1.5.1 (Testing equipment and software settings for overspeed detection system).
3. Bypass all other configured channels.
4. Adjust the power supply voltage to -10.00 Vdc.
5. Reset the overspeed detection module overspeed input/output module or enable the channel reset software switch through the reset contact on the short circuit. The OK indicator light on the verification monitor lights up and the Channel Status group on the coarse Verification screen displays OK.
6. Verify that the OK relay on the rack interface/O module indicates 0K (normal (powered on). Refer to the 3500/20 Rack Interface Module Operation and Maintenance Manual, part number 129768-01.
