The VMIVME-4140 analog output board provides 32 high-quality analog output channels with 12 bit resolution, which can provide or absorb 10 mA current at ± 10 V voltage. Each output is assigned a dedicated digital to analog converter (DAC). The analog output can be disconnected from the on-site wiring for offline testing. Calibration and self check are initiated by resetting the VMEbus system or executing software commands. During the calibration process, the offset and gain coefficient tables are compiled and stored in RAM. There is an offset and gain entry corresponding to each of the 32 channels configured within the six output voltage ranges.
