ABB RED670是一款集保护、控制、监视于一体的智能化电子设备，主要用于架空线路和电缆的保护、监视和控制。

RED670具有线路差动保护功能，能够可靠地实现单相/两相/三相跳闸和自动重合闸，并带有同步和同期检查功能。此外，RED670还具备后备距离保护功能，当通讯信道中断时，距离保护可以作为选择性后备保护。同时，RED670配备了电流保护功能，可以处理多个断路器相关的保护和控制功能。

RED670线路差动保护装置集保护、测控于一体，具有保护功能配置灵活、硬件可扩展等特点，由电源模块、模拟量输入模块、开关量输入模块、开关量输出模块、通信模块、时间同步模块等组成。但该装置没有国内110kV线路保护装置自带的用来实现防跳、SF6压力闭锁、控制回路断线、双母线电压切换等功能的操作插件，若直接应用，不能构成完整的保护测控装置，不满足国内有关设计规范。

RED670 has line differential protection function, which can reliably achieve single-phase/two-phase/three-phase tripping and automatic reclosing, and has synchronization and synchronization check functions. Meanwhile, RED670 is equipped with current protection function, which can handle the protection and control functions related to multiple circuit breakers.

The RED670 differential protection device for transmission lines integrates protection, measurement and control, and has the characteristics of flexible protection function configuration and hardware scalability. It is composed of power module, analog input module, switch input module, switch output module, communication module, time synchronization module, etc. However, this device does not have the operational plugins that come with the domestic 110kV line protection device to achieve functions such as anti tripping, SF6 pressure locking, control circuit disconnection, and dual bus voltage switching. If directly applied, it cannot form a complete protection and measurement device and does not meet the relevant design specifications in China.
